Lynn Whitfield Joins Netflix’s ‘Nappily Ever After’

According to Deadline, Lynn Whitfield has been cast in Netflix’s upcoming comedy film Nappily Ever After. Based on the book of the same title by Trisha R. Thomas, Whitfield is playing Violet’s mother (Sanaa Lathan) named Paulette. Directed by Haifaa Al-Mansour, Lathan are also producing the film.  Filming is set to start this month in Atlanta.
