MCM Comic Con London continued the tradition of kicking off the summer convention season in late May before June with all pop culture fanfare. We had a chance to visit the Alien: Earth TV series display, before the show kicked off in the summer in August on Disney+, with an experience on a ship that had crash landed on Earth. It was a fun role-play experience, and the lines were packed out which lasted around 15 mins or more. From Masters of the Universe to Wednesday it was certainly an assortment of various franchises and guests.

Interview with the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers : Steve Cardenas (Rocky) Karen Ashley (Aisha), and Walter Jones (Zack).

We had the opportunity to have a special press interview with the trio celebrating the success of this 30 plus year franchise show and global phenomenon. They spoke about the legacy it has had on them as individuals, the fans, the inspiration it gave to people, the behind the scenes, 90’s nostalgia and much more. They touched upon the success of the Netflix Power Rangers special “Once & Always” and their gratitude to the show, fans worldwide and their own personal insights. The full interview is available on our Hollywood News Source YouTube Channel.

Walter Emanuel Jones:

“We were put in positions to do crazy things. We did a live show at Universal Studios, brought out three 30,000 people to the park in a day. Sold out six shows in an amphitheater where Michael Jackson would perform, and I think we had one rehearsal.”

Karan Ashley:

“Like we were girl power before that was ever even a thing.”

Steve Cardenas:

“Your show was 30 minutes of escape everyday. I just want to come and say how much that meant, you know, for people to say that kind of stuff.”
