If you’re like me and are sick of this snow and cold weather, then you find warmth in a good book. It’s the season where you cozy up in a blanket in bed and binge the pile of books you’ve had on your desk for weeks now. Because it is negative temps and snowing where I live, I seek warmth through books and have a few books on my tbr pile that I cannot wait to read.
Here are some of the books to read this winter!
“The Real Deal” by Lauren Blakely
I am a sucker for fake relationships. It’s one of my favorite tropes because you know they’re going to end up falling in love. It has the promise of angst, which I am totally here for. The summary for the book was enough for me to know I had to read it and run to my local library (yes, I still go to the library).
“Billy and Me” by Giovanna Fletcher
“My Favorite Half-Night Stand” by Christina Lauren
“The Royal Runaway” by Lindsay Emory
This book screams Hallmark movie, so duh, I’m going to read it. It’s about a princess who is so over being royal and wants to be a regular Joe. She encounters a man who is also a spy. Yep, I am totally hooked on that premise. I mean, that just screams conflict and angst. I am so here for it.
“Work in Progress” by Staci Hart
I have a lot of reading to do on my downtime, but seeing as it’s too cold to leave the house on the weekends, I guess I have no choice but to read my weekends away. The TV shows I have to catch up on will have to wait.
