Fall is my favorite season, and with fall, comes a bunch of cozy activities. One of the best aforementioned cozy activities is reading. Bonus if it’s rainy outside because a rainy day makes for the best reading. It’s time to make our fall TBR list.
I have a long list of books on my TBR, but I am rolling out the red carpet for these upcoming books by some of my favorite authors and ones I have never read before but am excited to delve into. Here’s the books I’m adding to my fall TBR list.
The Cinnamon Bun Book Store by Laurie Gilmore: Everything about this book cover just screams fall. This is a small town romance that follows a book store owner and fisherman falling in love. I am a big fan of small town romance, so sign me up for this one. It just dropped, which means it’s time to get reading.
How My Neighbor Stole Christmas by Meghan Quinn: Yes, you did read the word “Christmas” in this title, and you’re probably confused as to why this would be on my fall TBR. Listen, I don’t make the rules here — I am just a firm believer in reading holiday romances whenever the heck I want. Add the fact that it’s a Meghan Quinn book and you’ve got me excited for the October 15 release date. Nothing screams Halloween season like a Christmas book…right?
Truly Madly Deeply by L.J. Shen: A grumpy x sunshine and enemies to love romance book? Um, yeah, I am going to need to read this as soon as possible. Those are my all-time favorite tropes in a romance book! Thankfully, I don’t have to wait too long since the book is releasing September 10. This will be a new author read for me, too!
A Werewolf’s Guide to Seducing a Vampire by Sarah Hawley: This title is quite interesting, but color me intrigued. Plus, it’ll be perfect for the spooky season ahead, so it’s only appropriate for it to land on my TBR list. I’ve never read this author, but according to Goodreads’ reviews, the book sounds promising and perfect for the fall. Bonus: the book is currently available.
Bring on the season of fall reading! How many of these I actually will get through is TBD because I have a bunch of other books sitting on my shelves begging to be read. What’s your fall TBR list looking like so far for the upcoming autumn season? Comment below!
