HNS Review:
“Twisters” is one of the year’s best films. Being a fan of the original movie, this legacy sequel had large shoes to fill. Luckily, director Lee Isaac Chung was up for the challenge, providing a sensational mix of action packed mayhem and charming character dynamics. The film is perfectly paced, giving audiences a wild ride while not overstaying its welcome. The cast is excellent from top to bottom. Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Anthony Ramos all get their moment to shine. There aren’t many better excuses to go to the movies than “Twisters”, so check it out now!
About the Special Features:
Gag Reels – What I could tell early on is that this cast had a blast with each other. Their chemistry in each scene is evident. I noticed that each sequence of the movie was featured in this section. I enjoyed seeing how the cast bantered with one another and how involved the crew seemed to be.
Deleted Scenes – This section features a deleted scene from Kate’s agreement with Javi when she travels with him to chase the storms, an awkward interaction between Kate and Boone, and a tender scene as Kate observes Tyler’s team bantering with each other in between chases. It was fun to see these scenes in the extras section but it’s probably best they were cut from the film.
