After two seasons NBC has cancelled the Charles Manson drama which starred David Duchovny (The X-Files).

NBC were much more forgiving than usual with the series, initially giving it a straight to series order and giving a very early renewal for season 2 despite lacklustre ratings. The writing seemed to be on the wall during the first season but NBC persisted, the good news if you can call the end of a production like this is that David Duchovny could be freed up for more X-Files though Gillian Anderson has been pretty busy over in the UK with her own serial killer drama The Fall.
