Jack Quaid Joins Amazon Superhero Show ‘The Boys’

Deadline reported, Jack Quaid (The Hunger Games) has been cast as the lead in ‘The Boys.’

It’s an Amazon drama created by Eric Kripke, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen teaming up with Sony Pictures TV. 

Based on the comic book of Garth Ennis & Darick Robertson, Kripke will pen the script while Goldberg & Rogen will direct. 

Quaid will play Hughie, who’s going to be part of a covert war against a group of superheroes who might have killed his girlfriend. The premise of the story will be about a group of vigilantes who’ll go against the corrupt superheroes. 

The cast also includes Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, & Nathan Mitchell.
