The Secret Life of the American Teenager

Season 5, and the final season, of “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” premieres tonight at 8pm on ABC Family.

In the premiere episode, “To Each Her Own,” Amy buys a thrift store wedding dress and is the only one who likes it, while Anne discovers that her ex, David, might be the biological father of Robie.

We had a chance to chat with Natalie Dreyfuss & Daren Kagasoff to find out what’s in store for the show and more. Take a look!

Natalie Dreyfus returns as Chloe and promises there will be alot of drama!

-Chloe has already had a lot of drama since first appearing on “Secret Life.” What can viewers expect in this final season?
It’s going to be a fun ride. Chloe’s past is definitely going to haunt her, so viewers will have to wait and she if she can handle it without going back to her old ways.

-Is there a particular episode of the show you’re excited for fans to see?
The last episode is awesome. So much drama and everything coming together, it’s going to be bittersweet. I even got a chance to work with my old friend who plays my pimp! That was fun for us, and hopefully it will be fun for fans to watch that confrontation.

-It’s always sad to see a TV show come to a close. Do you think “Secret Life” fans will be happy with how the season plays out?
I think the show will be missed! But they did do a great job of making it exciting in the end.

-What has been your favorite memory from your time on the show?
During the Christmas episode I was given a little baby kitten. It was absolutely adorable and I got to hold her and play with her all day. So cute!

-What is the hardest challenge you faced from your time on the show?
We would get the episodes probably the night before we would have to shoot and it would take seven days, so I guess getting the dialogue down was one of the most challenging things. But the writers were so good at doing their job and writing good scripts, so it actually got easier as the seasons progress. But I think that was the most challenging.

-There are lots of questions left up in the air. Is there anything you can tease us about the series finale and if many of our questions will get answered?
Many questions will get answered, that’s all pretty much I can say. I know everybody wants Amy and Ricky to end up together, and I guess you guys will see if that happens.
