Mike Flanaganhas to Direct Stephen King’s ‘Doctor Sleep’

Deadline reported, Warner Bros has contracted Mike Flanaganhas to direct the film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel Doctor Sleep. 

It was only expected after the success adaptation of King’s It. The story follows the main character Danny Torrance who’s in his 40s struggling with hereditary alcoholism. 

Flanagan’s filmograph include Oculus, Hush, Ouija: Origin of Evil and Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House. He will rewrite the script by Akiva Goldsman, who also stands as one of the executive producer. 

Doctor Sleep is the 2013 horror novel of Stephen King which was published by Scribner.
