Henry Golding to Play the Male Lead in Jon M. Chu’s Adaptation of ‘Crazy Rich Asians’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Henry Golding has been cast as the male lead in Jon M. Chu’s adaptation of Crazy Rich Asians.

Golding will play Nick Young, the heir of a Chinese-Singaporean elite family while Constance Wu has been tapped to play as Rachel Chu, his girlfriend and a professor in the United States. Michelle Yeoh is also attached to play as Nick’s mother.

Warner Bros. will produce while the author of the series, Kevin Kwan, will executive produce as well.
